Bangladesh, Nov. 14 -- Speakers stressed the need for ensuring equal rights for girl children for their empowerment in the country.
Apart from education, the girl children need to be given proper nutrition and other facilities, they also said.
They made the remarks on Tuesday in celebration of 'International Day of the Girl Child 2019'.
