Bangladesh, March 24 -- The teachers and employees under the non-monthly pay order (MPO) scheme continued staging their sit-in for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday.
Several hundred teachers carrying placards were observing the sit-in programme in front of the National Press Club in the city to press home their demand for MPO enlistment.
Non-MPO teachers and employees reiterated their demand with emotion-chocked voice, saying that they hardly get any salary to maintain their family.
The agitating teachers said they would not return home until they get assurance from the prime minister about MPO enlistment.
