Bangladesh, March 22 -- Ten most traded companies accounted for 32 per cent of the transactions on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday, with Singer Bangladesh making its way to the top of the turnover chart.

Market analysts said investors were active on Singer Bangladesh shares throughout the day just ahead of its record date.

Trading of the company's shares will remain suspended on its record date, March 24 (Sunday). And the trading of the share will resume the next day.

The board of directors of Singer has recommended 30 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2018.
