Bangladesh, Jan. 22 -- According to a report published in this paper on Saturday the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) has taken steps to increase the number of its online services to 19 from its One Stop Service (OSS) Centre for investors within this month. The new services are providing Clearance and Certificate of Incorporation from the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms, Tax Identification Number (TIN) from the National Board of Revenue and Building Occupancy Certificate. Although the forthcoming expansion of services has a laudable ring, still it comprises only 15 per cent of the 125 types of services the OSS is envisaged to offer to investors.
