Chattogram, March 21 -- At long last the Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) is going to construct the new City Building (Nagar Bhaban) at a cost of Tk202 crore (2.02 billion) and 26 lakh (2.6 million).
The decision was taken at the 44th general meeting (GM) of the CCC, held at its Abdus Sattar Hall on Thursday afternoon.
The meeting was chaired by CCC mayor A J M Nasir Uddin while acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammed Abu Shahed Chowdhury moderated it.
Among others, CCC's panel mayors, ward councillors, Chief Engineer Lt. Colonel Mohiuddin Ahamod, Chief Education Officer Suman Barua, Special Magistrate Jahanara Ferdous, Executive Magistrate Afia Akter and high officials were present at the meeting.
