Bangladesh, Jan. 22 -- S. M. Iqbal Hossain has recently been promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director of Bank Asia Ltd.
Prior to the promotion, Mr. Hossain was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of International Business & Export Finance Division of the bank.
Mr. Hossain started his banking career with Sonali Bank Limited in 1984. During his career with Sonali Bank, he served at many branches including Soanli Bank Kolkata Branch (India) for 5 years.
Later he joined Bank Asia Ltd as FVP & Manager Operations of Principal Office Branch in 2003. During his journey with Bank Asia Ltd, he served as a Branch Manager of major branches including Principal Branch of the bank.
