Bangladesh, Jan. 22 -- DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) on Tuesday elected Sharif Anwar Hossain as its president.
The DBA's board of directors elected Mr. Hossain, also the managing director at Md. Sahidullah Securities, as immediate past president Md. Shakil Rizvi resigned from this post on January 19.
Mr. Rizvi recently has been elected as the shareholder director of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The DBA's board of director also appointed Richard D' Rozario, managing director at Global Securities, and Mohammad Ali, CEO at Dhaka Bank Securities, as senior vice president and vice president respectively.
The newly elected DBA president Mr. Hossain previously was the senior vice president of the same association.
