Bangladesh, May 19 -- A Malaysian delegation led by Senator Liew Chin Tong, deputy minister of Defence in Malaysia, visited the camp of Rohingya people and Field Hospital established by Malaysia on Thursday last in Cox's Bazar.
The delegation interacted with residents of the camp, local administration and different NGOs during their visit.
The community leaders, on behalf of residents of the camp, expressed to the minister their urge to return to their own land, it added.
They also requested the Malaysian deputy minister to extend support from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to settle the issue.
