Bangladesh, Nov. 14 -- BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's sister Selima Islam on Wednesday said the former prime minister will go abroad for better treatment if she is freed on bail as her condition is 'not' improving.

Talking to reporters after meeting her sister at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Selima said, "She (Khaleda) will go abroad if she gets bail, and we also want to send her abroad as her condition is not improving."

She said the fingers of Khaleda's hands and legs are getting bent and she is suffering from acute pains. "She neither can stand up nor can sit up straight. Under the circumstances, she needs advanced treatment."
