Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The High Court (HC) on Monday stayed the joining of newly appointed principal of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College Professor Fouzia Rezwan.
The court asked Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Amit Das Gupta to ensure that Fouzia could not join the post of the principal until 11:00 am today (Tuesday).
The High Court bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Khairul Alam passed the order while hearing a writ petition filed by a Supreme Court lawyer, Eunus Ali Akond, challenging the legality of Fouzia's appointment.
