Bangladesh, Nov. 22 -- The High Court issued on Thursday a rule upon the respondents to explain in two weeks as to why the Article 11 of the directions promulgated by the Department of Primary Education dated December 20, 2018, saying a PEC examinee could be expelled for unfair means in the examination, should not be declared illegal.
The court also wanted in the rule as to why the expulsion of the 15 examinees of the PEC (primary education certificate) till November 19 should not be declared illegal and as to why the respondents should not be directed to take reexamination of those expelled examinees.
