Bangladesh, March 22 -- The government will spend over Tk 401 million on providing agricultural inputs to the farmers free of cost for Ufshi Aus cultivation this year. Under the programme, over 0.45 million farmers in 64 districts will be benefited.
Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque announced financial incentives at his secretariat office on Thursday.
He said the government has taken up the incentives programme to provide marginalised farmers with seeds and fertilisers free of cost for ensuring a sustainable agriculture system in the country.
