Dhaka, July 6 -- Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar on Monday said establishing internet facilities as one of the basic rights to face the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) is a demand of time.

He made the remarks at an online meet the press jointly organised by Prime Bank and Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), reports UNB.

Jabbar said the government is determined to make internet service easy and available for spreading education in the country.

He also said that internet shouldn't be categorised as expenditure but an investment for building a meritorious nation and spreading education.
