Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Monday spotted Aedes mosquito larvae in 26 more houses and establishments as it continued its combing operation for the second consecutive day.

On Sunday, the DNCC started its 'Special Cleanliness and Combing Operation' during the second phase in the city.

Earlier, on August 25, in the first phase, the DNCC started the 10-day combing operation in the wake of a massive dengue outbreak.

DNCC teams also found that 5,221 more houses and establishments had favourable conditions for breeding of Aedes mosquito.

The teams inspected 10,713 houses and establishments in 36 wards of the DNCC on the day.
