Dhaka, June 22 -- The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has revised its CSE-30 Index on the basis of the performance of the listed companies.

The new index will come into effect from June 30. The port city's bourse reviews the index twice a year.

After the latest revision, eight companies have been included in the CSE-30 Index while eight were excluded from the previous list.

The new companies which have been included in the list are Bank Asia, Baraka Patenga Power, BSRM Steels, Confidence Cement, Linde Bangladesh, Matin Spinning Mills, Power Grid Company of Bangladesh and Premier Cement Mills.
