Bangladesh, Oct. 23 -- Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) filed cases against 10 organisations including nine petrol pumps for their alleged weight and measurement manipulations of different types of fuel.

Different mobile courts and surveillance teams of the BSTI launched the drives and filed those cases in capital's Mirpur, Uttara, Gabtoli and Gazipur city on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

On Tuesday, a mobile court of the BSTI led by its Executive Magistrate Begum Rashida Akhter and a surveillance team of BSTI team led by Assistant Director Md Rezaul Karim carried out the drives in city's Tejgaon, Amin Bazar and Gabtoli areas and filed three cases against three patrol pumps.
