Bangladesh, Oct. 20 -- BNP senior leader Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain wondered over the desire of Jagannath University VC Mijanur Rahman to take the charge of Jubo League, saying he wants to "do it to indulge in plundering".
"I've seen in newspapers that Jagannath University VC Mijanur Rahman announced to quit his post if he is given the charge of Jubo League. I've got stunned seeing such news. Shame on him!" he said.
The BNP leader further said, "Why does he want to do it? It's possible to run casinos and indulge in tender (manipulation), and there's a scope to plunder thousands of crore taka after taking the charge of Jubo League. Just think about it... what has become the goal of a vice chancellor?"
