Dhaka, March 28 -- Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck has visited the proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Bhutan in the Madhabram area under the Bhogdanga union in the Kurigram district.

He arrived here with his entourage in the morning and visited the SEZ around 1:30 pm.

State Minister for Information M A Arafat, State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and member of parliament Dr Hamidul Haq Khandaker, among others, were present.

Later the King left for Bhutan through Sonahat Land Port in Bhurungumari upazila via India, reports UNB.
