Bangladesh, Sept. 6 -- Bangladesh has achieved the world's highest percentage improvement in overall Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) score that has helped the country to move up five positions to be ranked 120th globally. In 2017, the country's ranking was 125th.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) issued the latest report on TTCI on Wednesday. It prepares the ranking in each two years.

This year the number of countries, adjudged for the ranking, was 140. Spain retained its top position in the ranking, followed by France.
