Dhaka, March 14 -- Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) appointed Prof. Dr. Md. Saidur Rahman as the new Treasurer on Wednesday.

By the directive of the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Saidur was appointed as the university's new treasurer. He will officially assume his responsibilities from next Thursday (March 14).

He replaced the outgoing Treasurer, Kbd. Md. Waliullah. The handover ceremony took place at 4:00 pm in the conference hall of the administrative office. The event was attended by university student counsellors, proctors, teachers from various departments, and staff members.
