Bangladesh, Oct. 19 -- In the wake of cash crunch created by non-payment of bills of many countries including the United States, the United Nations has requested member states to pay their dues. Although Bangladesh is already planning to pay its bills for the next year, the global body has reportedly requested Dhaka to increase the amount. When there are calls for UN reforms, it is important to make sure that the advanced countries paid their dues, first. Secondly, the UN may try to raise funds through alternative mechanisms. As citizens of a Third World country, we must have says to improve the spending by the UN system.
