Tanzania, March 20 -- Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) has issued a warning indicating that 11 regions, including Dar es Salaam, are on high alert due to anticipated heavy rainfall.

The forecast suggests a likelihood of floods and potential disruptions to marine and economic activities across the affected areas.

The regions in the path of the impending weather include Morogoro, Coast including Mafia, Iringa, Njombe, Ruvuma, Lindi, and Mtwara, as well as the isles of Unguja and Pemba (Zanzibar).
