Tanzania, May 10 -- Dar es Salaam. Football giants, Simba, have revived their hopes of finishing in the top two positions of the Mainland Tanzania Premier League following their 3-1 victory against Azam FC at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on May 9, 2024.

Goals from Sadio Kanoute in the 63rd minute, Fabrice Ngoma in the 77th minute, and David "Duchu" Kameta in the 89th minute were enough for the Msimbazi Street giants to intensify the title race, as well as secure second place and the chance to represent the country in the CAF Champions League next season.
