Tanzania, April 19 -- Nairobi. Raila Odinga, the leader of ODM, fervently conveyed a message that resonated beyond his tenure in a pivotal gathering at the Bomas of Kenya.

With the possibility of his ascent to the chairmanship of the African Union Commission looming, Odinga underscored that ODM transcends any individual, including himself, and is fundamentally about the aspirations of Kenyans.

Emphasising the need for ODM's continuity and evolution, Odinga drew a parallel with Tanzania's Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), highlighting how the party persevered through transitions of leadership, from the era of Nyerere to the current tenure of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
