Tanzania, April 14 -- Dar es Salaam. Oryx Gas Tanzania Ltd and Asas Group of companies have donated foods and cooking gas cylinders to support survivors of floods in Rufiji district of the Coast region.

The assistance was handed on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Dar es Salaam to Rufiji Member of Parliament, who is also the Minister of State in the President's Office - Regional Administration and Local Governments, Mr Mohamed Mchengerwa, to help the residents affected by the ongoing floods caused by continuous rainfall.

Speaking while receiving the assistance, Mr Mchengerwa thanked the companies for volunteering to support the people of Rufiji in the face of the disaster.
