Tanzania, May 21 -- Dar es Salaam. Mwananchi Communication Limited (MCL), in collaboration with La Liga, has donated sports gear to Ubungo District in Dar es Salaam.

The donation will be used in the Inter Primary School Games (Umitashumta) that started at the Kinesi ground in the city today.

The games aim at discovering and nurturing young talents for the future of the national teams in football, basketball, volleyball, handball, netball, athletics, special football and in other games.

The event, which features 480 primary school boys and girls, is held annually, starting from ward to district levels, whereby combined regional teams are formed for national competitions.
