Tanzania, Dec. 6 -- Dar es Salaam. The government of Ireland has signed two co-financing agreements worth Euro1.4 million with the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA) to support Census Data Analysis and Reproductive Health and Rights in Tanzania.

Most of the funds will be channeled to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS)to conduct further detailed analysis on the 2022 population and housing dataset, including on the issue of gender equality .

The funds will also help to support sexual and reproductive health and rights targeting communities mainly in Kigoma region.
