Dhaka, Jan. 16 -- The private carrier US-Bangla Airlines celebrated its 2,000 days of successful operations on January 6.

On the occasion, Mohammad Ab-dullah Al Mamun, Managing Director of US-Bangla ex-pressed his gratitude, in a press statement, to all concerned, including regulatory authorities, passengers, staff members, media and other stakeholders for their continuous support and cooperation.

The airline started its journey on July 17, 2014 with two 76-seater Dash8-Q400 aircraft and the maiden flight was to Jashore.

In less than two years, the carrier started its international operations by launching flights to Kathmandu.
