Dhaka, April 20 -- The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore has announced that it will stop stamping the passports of travellers departing the country from April 22 onwards, saving valuable space in their passport.

However, unlike some other countries in the region, travellers will still have their passports stamped when entering Singapore.

Previously, all foreigners departing Singapore would have their passports stamped with the date of departure by an immigration officer at the manned counters.
