Kathmandu, Oct. 16 -- Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal-China joint venture private international carrier of the country, is preparing to transfer the Chinese ownership of the company, according to Himalayan News Service.

Currently, Tibet Airlines has 49 per cent share in the company while Yeti World Investment Pvt Ltd has 51 per cent share. However, now the company is preparing to transfer the share of Tibet Airlines to Tibet Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company, said Vijay Shrestha, Vice President, Himalaya Airlines.
