Dhaka, April 20 -- Cambodia Airways has started operations on Phnom Penh-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route marking the airline's entry into Thailand.

The airline operates its fleet of A319s on the 504 kilometre route, which inaugurated its services on April 11 between the Cambodian and Thai cities, planning to offer a daily rotation.

Cambodia Airways has become the sixth airline to serve the airport pair of Phnom Penh (PNH) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK).

The airline joins Bangkok Airways which flies six times daily, THAI Smile, eleven times weekly, JC International Airlines, ten times weekly, Thai Airways, once daily and Lanmei Airlines, flying six times weekly.
