India, Nov. 7 -- Voting for the third phase of Bihar assembly elections is underway on Saturday.

Voting is being held at 78 assembly seats spread across 19 districts.

As many as 1,204 candidates are in the fray.

The BJP is contesting on 35 seats while JD(U) is contesting on 37. The RJD is contesting on 46 seats whereas, Congress, in 25. Asaduddin's Owasi's AIMIM, contesting on 16 seats in this round, may cut into Grand Alliance's votes.

According to the Election Commission, 8.13% voter turnout was recorded till 10 a.m.

On November 3, polling for the second phase of Bihar assembly elections was held. Voting was held at 94 constituencies across 17 districts in the second phase with a voter turnout of 53.51%.
