INDIA, March 21 -- A CRPF soldier shot dead three of his colleagues on Wednesday night inside their camp in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Three CRPF personnel were killed on Wednesday when a colleague allegedly fired at them in a fit of rage," officials said.

The incident happened at around 10 pm when a jawan Ajit got into a verbal duel with his colleagues over some issue. He then shot three of his colleagues from his service rifle at the 187th battalion camp of the force in the Battal Ballian area in Udhampur, officials added.

Three CRPF men were killed in the firing, Ajit also shot himself but survived, he was taken to hospital in a critical condition, officials said.
