India, July 15 -- The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 9,36,181 as it recorded 29,429 fresh infections in the last 24 hours. A total of 24,309 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

There are 3,19,840 active cases while 5,92,031 have been cured/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 267665 with 10,695 fatalities.

Tamil Nadu has the second highest COVID-19 cases - 1,47,324 with 2,099 deaths followed by Delhi - 1,15,346 and 3,446 deaths, Gujarat - 43,637 cases and 2,069 fatalities, Karnataka - 44,077 with 842 deaths and Uttar Pradesh - 39,724 cases and 983...
