INDIA, April 25 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday appointed former Supreme court judge AK Patnaik, to conduct an inquiry into the claims of lawyer that there is a larger conspiracy to frame Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogi on allegations of sexual harassment.

The top court has asked the chiefs of CBI, Intelligence Bureau and the Delhi Police to assist Justice Patnaik in the probe.

The Bench ordered advocate Utsav Bains to submit all the documents and material he had to Justice Patnaik.

The court also said that Justice Patnaik will not go into the issue of sexual harassment allegations against the Chief Justice of India.
