India, Sept. 25 -- Farmers have launched their protest against the farms' Bills passed by Parliament by giving a call for Bandh across Punjab.

More than 31 farmer organisations in Punjab are participating in the bandh. From all over the state farmers are stopping the movement of traffic at roads and highways. Many trains were suspended as the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee staged 'rail roko' agitation.

Activists of the Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) are also protesting on rail tracks.

Farmers are also requesting traders across the state to keep their shops closed.
