India, Sept. 15 -- Facebook executives on Tuesday skipped a hearing of the Delhi Assembly's "Peace and Harmony" committee saying they have already attended a hearing called by a parliamentary panel.

The response did not go down well with the committee, headed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Raghav Chaddha, and the panel said that it would deliver "a final notice" to the US-based company over the no-show.

"We had summoned Facebook India VP & MD Ajit Mohan over its role in Delhi riots. In reply, Facebook has asked to withdraw summon as 'regulation of intermediaries like Facebook falls within exclusive authority of GOI," Raghav Chadha said.
