Sri Lanka, Dec. 22 -- State Minister of Power Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that the former Yahapalana Government went completely against the mandate they received in 2015 and therefore, the people wanted a trustworthy leader like President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who can rebuild the country. In an interview with the Sunday Observer, the State Minister said the people were well aware that if Sajith Premadasa became the President, Ranil Wickremesinghe would have been the Prime Minister and this would once again pave the way for political instability in the country.
