Sri Lanka, Jan. 12 -- Water is necessary for the existence of life on Earth. Our day-to-day activities are based on survival needs related to water. It is needed for both humans and animals. We get water from many sources such as rain, lakes, rivers and reservoirs. In districts like Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa droughts may occur frequently. Due to this situation we must save water. We all must understand the importance of saving water. As school children we must protect water for our next generation.
