SRI LANKA, April 21 -- The Saudi Arabian government has agreed to provide a concessional loan of 187.5 million Saudi Riyal to set up a fully equipped Faculty of Medicine at the Sabaragamuwa University, Ratnapura.

Essentially needed infrastructure facilities will be constructed and the students will be provided state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities (laboratory and other equipment) that would facilitate in providing world-class medical education.
