Sri Lanka, Sept. 6 -- Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said that the 19th Amendment to the Constitution introduced by the former Yahapalana Government failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people as it wanted to cater to the interests of minority parties such as the TNA with the aim of consolidating their power. In an interview with the Sunday Observer, Minister Ranatunga said that the 19th Amendment didn't reflect the will of the majority of the people.
