Sri Lanka, Dec. 27 -- State Minister of Samurdhi, Household Economy, Micro Finance, Self-Employment and Business Development, Shehan Semasinghe said considering this difficult period as well as keeping to the promise given by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the Government has brought down the interest rates. The rupee against the Dollar is now between Rs.180 and 186 which was almost Rs.200 when the Government took office.
