Singapore, Jan. 23 -- This is the third Audi RS test-drive in as many weeks, which is a record of sorts. And more are on the way.

There are two reasons for this.

One, the pandemic-induced trade suspension last year delayed some launches.

Two, Audi is prioritising the high-powered models because they are likely to attract higher taxes when a rise in emission-based surcharges kick in in July.

The RS Q3 Sportback is the first coupe-crossover with an RS badge.

It is doubly special because it gets an inline-five engine - a hallmark of Audi, which applied it with great success in rallies.
