Mysuru, May 21 -- The five-day State-level Women's Cricket Tournament, organised by the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore and Bowlout Cricket Academy, Mysuru, began at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium (Gangothri Glades) in city on Monday. The tournament will conclude on May 23.

The tournament, organised in T20 format, had to see the inaugural match reduced to 10-over slot, due to the rain in the morning. The following matches were however increased to 15-over slot.In the first match, Nice Devil's team won against Kohinoor Vijayapura team, registering a eight wicket victory, against the target of 48 runs set by the rival team, for the loss of six wickets.
