India, Oct. 31 -- Mysuru, Oct. 31 - Even as potholed roads have been under severe criticism by commuters, PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi said that filling up of potholes will be taken up once the monsoon season ends.
Speaking to presspersons during his visit to Dasara exhibition in city on Wednesday, Jarkiholi said that grants are being released for PWD Department for new works. Asserting that the Department will take up pothole filling on a priority basis once the rainy season concludes, he said after this, asphalting of roads will be taken up.
Stating that Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) is conducting a 30-day expo at Belagavi every year, he said the KEA has increased its sheen after Ayub Khan took over as its Chairman.
