India, June 11 -- In a significant move to support students from marginalised communities, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Centre, Mysuru, distributed laptops to 105 eligible Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) students recently. VTU Regional Director Dr. Hema Patil, who addressed the students, urged them to utilise the laptops for academic purposes. "These laptops are tools for your success. Use them wisely to enhance your learning and achieve your goals."

Nodal Officer of VTU PG Centre Dr. B.N. Kavitha and Programme Coordinator of the Department of Civil Engineering Dr. B.S. Keerthi Gowda also addressed the students.
