Mysore/Mysuru, Dec. 16 -- On the occasion of his 66th birthday, Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy visited Chamundeshwari temple atop Chamundi Hill this noon and offered his obeisance to the deity.

Earlier, Kumaraswamy, also a former Karnataka Chief Minister, who came from Bengaluru by road, was accorded a warm welcome by JD(S) and BJP supporters in front of 'Payana', a vintage car Museum on Mysuru-Bengaluru road. Welcoming the Union Minister, the supporters burst crackers and raised slogans hailing him.
