Mysuru, Jan. 8 -- The U-14 Boys Throwball team of Al-Kareem School, Rajivnagar, Mysuru, emerged as the champions in the Division-level Throwball Championship held at Bekanahalli in Chikkamagalur recently.

In the finals, the team emerged victorious against Udupi. Earlier, they had defeated Mandya and Dakshina Kannada teams in the semi-final and quarter-final respectively.

Team members include Mohammed Shuraim (Captain), Mohammed Zoyan (Vice-Captain), Arhan Khan, Mohammed Shahid, Nizamuddin, Samarth, Mohammed Arsalan, R. Sufiyan Khan, Porvaj Singh, Sumukh Gowda, Vishwas and Mahadeva.

The team is being coached by Mohammed Fazal Ansari of Al-Kareem School.
