Mysuru, Dec. 17 -- Sri Sharada Public School, R.T. Nagar, Dattagalli, Mysuru, celebrated its Annual Sports Day on Dec. 5 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium here.

Chief guest H.P. Satish, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mysuru, inaugurated the programme by lighting the sports torch. Speaking on the occasion, he advised students to follow discipline and regularly practice in sports, stating that physical activities help improve health, mental strength and fitness.

All students actively participated in various sports events. Relay races, shot put, long jump and track events were the main attractions of the day.
