New Delhi/Mysuru, May 23 -- Pilot project rolled out in New Delhi; complaints must be registered via Helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in

The Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) has rolled out a new system that automatically converts financial cybercrime complaints involving fraud amounts above Rs. 10 lakh - filed via Helpline 1930 or the portal cybercrime.gov.in - into First Information Reports (FIRs).

This initiative, named e-Zero FIR, has been launched on a pilot basis in Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Monday.
